Vascular access can be overwhelming from the patient perspective. For many patients, your vascular access device is your lifeline, responsible for delivering necessary medicines and nutrition.
These devices and a patient’s vasculature need to be protected. And clinicians who are Vascular Access-Board Certified™ (VA-BC™) can help.

Please note: While we try to keep this list as accurate as possible, clinicians may leave their institution without updating our staff. The list reflects our current records.
Industry partners and institutions that do not provide direct patient care have been omitted from the list.
Download a free resource book.
Together with VA-BC™ Jackie Lutes and her team at Children’s Minnesota, we provide a free children’s booklet on IV insertion through the eyes of a pup named Porter.
The story helps familiarize children with vascular access procedures, allowing them to see, feel, and hear the process and reduce pre-procedure anxiety. It is available in four languages and free to download.
Read VA-BC™ stories.
Visit our blog to hear what our clinicians do each day to protect vascular access and patients like you. They advocate for you, and it may help you to advocate for your care too.
A few stories we recommend:
