Credentialing the very best in vascular access
Thank you for visiting our booth at the 2024 AVA Scientific Meeting in Denver!
We’ve got a few resources below to help you advance your career and advocate for your specialty.
Continuing Education (CE) in Vascular Access
Vascular access is a rapidly growing specialty, and it’s the responsibility of every vascular access professional to stay current in best practices, for our teams and for our patients.
It’s especially important for those who hold the Vascular Access-Board Certified™ (VA-BC™) credential — you need 30 CEs to renew your VA-BC™ and ensure that you’re practicing at the top of your field. You’ll gain CEs from the AVA conference, but we’ve listed more opportunities for CEs here to keep your learning going in the future.
Celebrate #VASD24
Vascular Access Specialty Day is just under a week away! Jump in on the celebrations this October 5 and advocate for your specialty.
We’ve created several resources to help you celebrate, from downloadable social graphics and poster templates to a photo contest to share your team’s accomplishments.
You can also find more information and resources to celebrate the day with AVA, including a proclamation to get VASD recognized by your local or state governments.
Questions about your certification or gaining the VA-BC™? Reach out to our staff — we’re always happy to help you succeed.
The Vascular Access-Board Certified™ credential is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and is recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the Magnet Recognition Program.
